Welcome to Debenham Sports & LeisureAt DS&L we strive to provide our community with a comprehensive range of sporting and social activities. You can choose from a variety of memberships, although for many sporting activities membership is not necessary. We also have a Community Centre, where you can have your party, dance or any other function or business meeting.
Please have a look around and see what you fancy or call 01728 861101 to talk to one of our staff. Are you between 11-15 yrs ...? If so, why not take advantage of our new Youth Fitness Centre membership. For just £15 a month you have access to the Fitness Centre and our qualified Fitness Trainer on Monday, Tuesdays and Wednesdays 4pm - 6pm every week. Interested? Then give us a call or just drop in. A parent or Carer will need to be with you when you sign up. Curry Night - Every Wednesday - £8.50pp Starting the 8th May.. Every Wednesday, we are offering with Zeera Indian Takeaway, an all you can eat buffet of Indian Cuisine and a choice of a pint of IPA/Carlsberg or 175ml glass of red/white/rose wine for £8.50pp. Auction of Promises 14th June 2013. Come and have a great night at our "Auction of Promises" many great "lots" on offer and with a 2 course meal too. £7 entry includes the meal. Inspired Facilities - £39,213
The Inspired Facilities fund is part of Places People Play, Sport England's Olympic & Paralympic legacy fund which aims to bring the inspiration of the London 2012 Games to every community in England. Eddy Alcock Locality Budget - £1,000
The Awards for All programme aims to help improve local communities and the lives of people most in need. Including Improved rural and urban environments - which communities are better able to access and enjoy and healthier and more active people and communities. The £10,000 from Awards4All together with the donations from Debenham Parish Council and Eddy's Locality Budget have allowed us to repair and renovate the Community Centre floor and replace all the windows in the Side Lounge. Leisure
In the main building we have the Deben Lounge, which is open every day.
There is also a Community Hall and Side Lounge for functions and meetings and ideal for wedding receptions - please call for details. Ample free, off-road parking. |
